Do not buy or rent this book. There are many pages missing from different chapters. I cannot get my work done appropriately without those pages. It is a waste of money. I need to buy the ebook now. Very disappointed.
This is extremely useful if you have online homework and quizzes. Quick searching key terms is very helpful! The searches could however be improved if it had a header related to the area in the text it brings you to.

I got an A in the class, but that was more me than the book.
I was attempting to rent a digital copy of volume 1 for a course I am taking. When switching from paperback to a digital copy, it was switched to volume 2. I have now effectively rented a useless book. Is there any way possible that I can receive a refund and rent the appropriate text?
This is perhaps the poorest edited and written text I've ever been forced to use. They are unclear in explanations of key terms, they fail to answer their own chapter preview goals, and their inability to clearly explain pivotal events makes this book virtually useless. Please discuss with professor the abandonment of Cole's attempt at a text and leave appropriate feedback for university administration to consider.

I've been forced to supplement with many outside sources due to the inadequacies of this text.
